Historically attested in Gonza's works (ca. early 18th century) under the spelling асачче (asacche). Cognate to Kagoshima あさっちぇ asatche and あさって asatte; Kikai あさてぃ asati; Okinoerabu あさてぃ asati; Okinawan あさってぃ asatti; and standard Japanese あさって【明後日】 asatte "day after tomorrow".
